Ugh. *hates*

I just returned from dinner with my dad. We usually eat together once a week. These meals are okay, not always enjoyable, but they don't make me want to snap his neck, either. This time, though, he got onto one of his favorite subjects, which is lamenting over my lack of roll models in my life. He did this by insulting one of the people I love most on this earth. He is always doing that and it pisses me off. My sister had to declare bankruptcy because the house she was living in was making her daughter sick, and then she had a complication with her second child and a bunch of bad things happened. My father treats my step-sister like she is low class. And yes, she is married to a blue-collar man who manages a Steak'n'Shake, and yes, she does not have a college education or a job, but she is rectifying that. She is going to college to be an English teacher, and I must wonder if there is a more nobel profession than teaching, or one less rewarding in Society. My sister is a great person and every time he brings her up it is something negative. It just really pisses me off.
